D C Kupwara gives away Rs 01 Lakh award to students of AGW School Chandigam, GMS Bumbhama

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 01: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din today gave away award of 01 lakh to the students of Army Good Will ,School, Chandigam and Government Middle School, Bumhama at his office in presence of Chief Education Officer and Tehsildar Kupwara. This award was given to them for presenting Kashmiri song (rouf) at a function presided over by Union Minister for Law and Justice ,Kiran Riijiju , at Chandigam on October 30. The Minister was highly impressed by the performance of the children in the cultural programme and had announced cash award in favour of the children. Today, Deputy Commissioner, on behalf of the Minister handed over cheques of 50,000( Fifty thousand),to each school in favour of participating students as award, besides, transport and refreshment charges.
