Army continues its awareness campaign as Kandi Tigers under the aegis of Charkut Garrisson organised an awareness program of cleanliness and hygiene maintenance, with an aim to contribute under SWACHHTA ABHIYAN mission launched by government on 2nd Oct 2014. Awareness campaign was conducted in girls middle school Bumhama, in which children were told about importance of cleanliness and hygiene maintenance. 40 Locals and children participated with enthusiasm and enjoyed the event to the fullest. Entire area was cleaned by locals and taken oath to maintain green environment, hygiene and sanitation.The effort of Army was appreciated by locals who requested Army to organise more such awareness programs.
