Kupwara: In response to the news being circulated in different social media platforms and groups regarding misappropriation of free flour in Kupwara Dever , it is as such clarified that the concerned news agency has published a fake news that free flour has disappeared from store in Devar as flour is not being distributed free in any scheme of FCS &CA Department.
However its again reiterated that rice is being distributed free to AAY and PHH categories @ 5 Kg per soul and Dal @1 kg per ration Card .
As such fake news are being published for the personal illegal favours by some people , its important that people involved in such practices should be dealt under law so that no one should spread wrong and fake news amongst general public and defame department without any reason .
However if there is any other misappropriation, the department shall take stern actions against the employee involved , Assistant Director Kupwara said.
